    This Privacy Policy explains how Sporty Hub collects, uses, and protects the personal and business information of venue owners and partners registered on our platform. If you are a customer (player/booker), please refer to our Customer Privacy Policy.

    1. Information We Collect from Owners

    Account & Identity Information

    • Full name, email address, and phone number
    • Profile photo (optional)
    • Date of birth and national ID / passport number (for KYC verification)
    • Home or business address

    Business Information

    • Business name, trade license, and registration number
    • Tax identification number (TIN / VAT number where applicable)
    • Venue address, GPS coordinates, and operating hours
    • Venue photos, videos, and descriptions you upload
    • Sport types, court configurations, and pricing
    • Proof of liability insurance

    Financial Information

    • Bank account details for payout processing
    • Payout history and transaction records
    • Subscription plan and billing details

    Platform Activity & Analytics

    • Booking and revenue data for your venues
    • Dashboard usage, feature interactions, and session logs
    • Device and browser information (IP address, OS, browser type)
    • Communications sent through the platform (messages, notifications)

    Customer Data You Access

    • For confirmed bookings, you receive the customer's name, contact number, and booking details
    • This data is provided solely to fulfill the booking
    • You must not store, share, or use this data for any other purpose

    2. How We Use Your Information

    • Verify your identity and business credentials (KYC / onboarding)
    • Create and manage your partner account and venue listings
    • Process subscription fees and payout payments
    • Display your venues to customers on the platform
    • Generate booking confirmations and operational notifications
    • Provide performance analytics and revenue reports on your dashboard
    • Improve platform features based on usage patterns
    • Detect and prevent fraud, abuse, and policy violations
    • Comply with legal, regulatory, and tax obligations
    • Send product updates, maintenance notices, and policy changes
    • Send marketing communications about new features (with your consent)

    3. Information Sharing

    We share your information with:

    • Payment Processors: Bank details and transaction data for payout processing and subscription billing
    • KYC / Verification Providers: Identity and business documents for account verification
    • Cloud & Hosting Providers: Infrastructure services that store and process platform data
    • Analytics Tools: Aggregated, anonymized usage data for platform improvement
    • Legal Authorities: When required by law, court order, or to protect platform and user rights
    • Business Transfers: In the event of a merger, acquisition, or asset sale, subject to confidentiality obligations

    We do NOT:

    • Sell your personal or business information to third parties
    • Share your financial details with other venue owners
    • Grant customers access to your private business or financial information
    • Use your venue photos for external advertising without your consent

    4. Your Obligations Regarding Customer Data

    As a venue owner, you may receive limited customer information to manage confirmed bookings. You agree to:

    • Use customer data only to fulfill or manage the specific booking
    • Not contact customers outside the platform for marketing or other purposes
    • Not store customer data beyond what is needed for the booking
    • Not share customer data with any third party
    • Comply with all applicable data protection laws (including GDPR where applicable)
    • Report any data breach or unauthorized access to customer data to us immediately

    Failure to comply may result in account suspension or termination per our Owner Terms of Service.

    5. Data Security

    • Industry-standard encryption in transit (SSL/TLS) and at rest
    • Secure payout processing (PCI DSS compliant payment partners)
    • Role-based access controls — only authorized staff can access owner data
    • Regular security audits, penetration testing, and vulnerability scans
    • Multi-factor authentication available for your owner account
    • Incident response procedures with breach notification within 72 hours

    6. Your Privacy Rights

    As a venue owner / data subject, you have the right to:

    • Access: Request a copy of the personal data we hold about you
    • Correct: Update inaccurate or outdated account and business information
    • Delete: Request deletion of your account and associated personal data (subject to legal retention requirements)
    • Export: Receive your data in a structured, portable format
    • Restrict: Limit processing of your data in certain circumstances
    • Object: Object to processing based on legitimate interests
    • Opt-Out: Unsubscribe from non-essential marketing communications at any time

    7. Data Retention

    • Active Accounts: All account and venue data retained while your partner account is active
    • Closed Accounts: Personal data deleted within 30 days of account closure, except where legally required
    • Financial Records: Transaction and payout records retained for 7 years to meet tax and accounting obligations
    • KYC Documents: Retained for the period required by applicable regulations
    • Analytics: Aggregated and anonymized performance data may be retained indefinitely

    8. Cookies & Tracking on the Owner Dashboard

    We use cookies and similar technologies on the owner dashboard for:

    • Authentication and session management (essential)
    • Dashboard performance monitoring and error tracking
    • Feature usage analytics to improve the owner experience
